Line Producer – Lifestyle & Factual Entertainment

Minimum 2 days per week in the Cardiff office

South Shore is a leading Wales-based indie behind some of the UK’s best-loved lifestyle and factual entertainment shows, including DIY SOSWorst House on the Street and Aldi’s Next Best Thing.

We’re looking for an experienced Line Producer to join our team, working across returning series and new lifestyle projects.

This role would suit a Cardiff or Bristol–based LP, with a minimum requirement of two days per week in our Cardiff office.

The Role

You’ll play a key senior role supporting the Head of Production, with particular strength in compliance, welfare, and attention to detail, ensuring productions are delivered smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Full responsibility for budgets, cost reporting, and schedules
  2. Leading on compliance, duty of care, welfare, and H&S
  3. Managing production teams and freelancers across multiple locations
  4. Supporting the HOP on risk management and broadcaster requirements
  5. Liaising with Editorial, suppliers, and senior stakeholders
  6. Ensuring productions are delivered on time, on budget, and fully compliant

About You

  1. Proven Line Producer experience on lifestyle / factual entertainment shows
  2. Strong understanding of compliance and contributor welfare
  3. Experience of delivering complex, returning series
  4. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  5. Confident supporting senior production leadership
  6. Based in Cardiff or Bristol, with availability to work at least 2 days per week from the Cardiff office
