To source and secure make-over locations for the first four episodes of the Interior Design Matters.

Ability to identify what locations would work for IDM and form a coherent and appropriate strategy on how to approach them
Identify the right people to contact and build working relationships with them to secure access
Good knowledge of how big scale shoots work and the impact on the business/local area
Working knowledge of H&S issues and whether they would effect the business/location viability for filming - access, parking, toilet provisions, outside space, size of rooms
Working knowledge of design issues and whether they would effect the business/location viability for filming - design briefs, design issues, decorative state of the buildings company branding, any extras needed ( storage hire, furniture hire)
Ability to talk about the design challenges of the business to assess suitability for a make over.
Ability to communicate clearly with contributors and business owners, laying out the list of needs for filming. Maintaining strong relationships through the filming process.
The ability to work autonomously and remotely
The ability to recognise when to refer up for senior advice
The ability to manage multiple location casts as once
The ability to do this job thoroughly but quickly. Keeping good records of all approaches made
Excellent communication skills
Good lateral thinking skills
Good working knowledge of large scale productions
As time goes on this role will grow as the AP will assist with the cast, guest judges and the prize, but for now it will be focusing on locations.
