Studio Lambert, in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios, is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Researcher or Junior AP to step up into an Assistant Producer role through a structured 8-month Traineeship starting January 2027 - August 2027.

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving diversity and inclusion within television, we particularly welcome applications from candidates from ethnically diverse or lower socio-economic backgrounds, as well as deaf, disabled and neurodivergent talent groups that are currently underrepresented within our industry.

This opportunity is aimed at an organised Researcher or Junior AP, or an AP from a different genre looking to move into Factual Entertainment programming.

We're looking for someone with strong editorial instincts, a meticulous head for fact checking and archive research to support the editorial team throughout the entire production process. The traineeship offers the chance to develop a broad range of skills across the editorial process, pre-production, supporting the team throughout filming, and across the edit within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This is a full-time, London based role working from the office and edit starting in early January 2027 - August 2027. We will consider flexible working requests where possible.

Please apply with a short statement (no more than 600 words) outlining your relevant experience and how you would benefit from this opportunity.

Due to the high volume of applications, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applicants individually.

We are an inclusive employer. We actively welcome applications from individuals from backgrounds under-represented in TV, including (but not limited to) those who identify as:

  1. Deaf, disabled or neurodivergent
  2. From ethnically diverse communities
  3. From lower socio-economic backgrounds

If you have access or adjustment requirements for completing any stage of this application process, or would like to apply via an alternative format, please email [email protected] to ask the Talent team to contact you for a confidential conversation. Please include the name of the job advert in the subject bar of your email.

In line with best practice, we will not initiate discussions about adjustments and access needs for the role itself unless and until an offer is made, except if it relates to an intrinsic part of the job. However, you are welcome ask us about the role to give you any information you need to assess whether it is a good fit for you. This includes questions about flexible working, accessibility of likely working spaces, and available adjustments. Again, please contact [email protected]
