Development Producer Role

The Garden Productions is one of the UK’s leading production companies, producing premium factual television for all the major broadcasters.

We are currently looking for an experienced Fact-Ent/Formats Development Producer to join our team.

Location: Working from our London office

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience of generating ideas that have gone to funded development and/or on to commission

• Proficient at taking topline concepts and working them up into detailed and pitchable ideas

• Demonstrable evidence of writing and designing high-quality decks that have been submitted to broadcasters, streamers and US networks

• Strong verbal communication skills - including succinctly pitching ideas and the ability to discuss ideas in a larger group

• Deep knowledge of the formatted television landscape - including past and recent commissions, broadcaster needs and steers

• Ability to work independently on an individual slate of ideas, while contributing to wider team targets

• Confident working with Microsoft Office suite of programmes including Word and Powerpoint

Preferable (but not essential):

• Further design skills including, but not limited to, use of Photoshop, Canva and Generative AI tools

• Video Editing skills including, but not limited to, use of Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro or Avid
