Role:                             Executive Assistant

Company:                     New Pictures

Reports to:                    CEO and Creative Director

Working Hours:             09.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Location:                        Central London offices with remote working on Fridays


Specific responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

·      EA to the CEO Willow Grylls and Co-Founder and Executive Producer, Elaine Pyke;

·      To work with additional EA for COO and EAs to delegate tasks between themselves if additional EA support is needed;

·      Extensive and proactive diary management;

·      Acting as gatekeeper and point of contact by screening telephone calls/e-mails for Executives;

·      Organising travel, hotel and restaurant bookings;

·      Drafting responses/communication on behalf of Executives;

·      Booking meeting rooms for Executives and management;

·      Liaising and interacting with staff and individuals in person, via phone and by e-mail;

·      Filing business expenses for Executives;

·      Handling confidential and sensitive information;

·      Ensuring Executive’s professionals tools (i.e. iMac, iPad, iPhone, etc.) are in good working order;

·      Assisting Executives and team with any ad hoc tasks; and

·      Any other reasonable ad hoc administration as required.


The successful candidate must have a passion for television, especially scripted, and be able to demonstrate:

· A background and understanding of television industry and/or a content making environment is essential;

·    Prior experience of extensive diary and travel arrangement; 

· Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal;

· Excellent in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;

· Advanced PowerPoint;

·  Logical thinker and problem solver;

· High attention to detail:

· Appetite to be an integrated and proactive team player within a dynamic indie;

· Ability to constantly prioritise, across multiple workstreams, meeting deadlines;

· Thrives in a fast-paced environment; and

· Enjoys watching television/consuming content
