LOCATION RESEARCHER

STV Studios is looking for an experienced Glasgow based Location Researcher to join the team on a much-loved returning daytime antiques series.

Start Date: 23^rd February 2026

Duration: approximately 4 months

Filming: Across the UK

Based: Glasgow

·Spend extended periods of time away from home working on location. 

·Be proactive and forward thinking, supporting a Shooting PD and assisting with the management of a team of Runners. 

·Assist with looking after on-screen talent 

·Maintain accurate logs, including the copyright of items, filmed on location 

·Assist the PD with kit including rigging Go Pros. 

·Opportunity to shoot GVs and monitor second camera at auctions.

Key experience for this role 

·Experience working on location in fast paced production schedule 

·Experience working with contributors and on-screen talent 

·Full driving licence is essential for this role 

·Experience of driving large vehicles desirable for this role 

·Basic shooting experience and knowledge of camera kit would be advantageous for this role
