SENIOR Edit Producer

STV Studios is looking for an experienced Senior Edit Producer to join the team on a returning Daytime series.

Start Date: mid August

End Date: early March 26

Based: STV, Pacific Quay, Glasgow

The successful candidate will have responsibility for

·     Confidently leading multiple edit suites while maintaining high editorial standards.

·     Providing editorial and logistical support to the Edit Producers, ensuring consistency of tone and structure across the series.

·     Ensuring post-production runs efficiently and on schedule, balancing viewing schedules with tight delivery deadlines.  Working closely with the Post Production Coordinator and liaising closely with technical, production and senior editorial teams to troubleshoot issues and keep delivery on track.

·     Maintaining high attention to detail and ensuring all content meets compliance, editorial, BBC Ed Pol, and delivery requirements.

Key experience and skills required for the role

·     A proven track record of edit producing Factual, and ideally Daytime, programmes.

·     Proven track record of strong editorial judgement

·     Confident writer

·     Excellent organisational and communication skills.

·     Experience of managing a team at a senior level

·     A good understanding of BBC editorial policy and the Ofcom Code.
