MATERNITY COVER - OPERATIONS MANAGER

An exciting opportunity has come up to join the team at CPL Productions as our Operations Manager for a years maternity cover. 

We are looking for someone who is able to hit the ground running and manage the day to day running of our office. Reporting to our Director of Production, the Operations Manager will work closely with our Senior Management Team to make sure all our systems are working efficiently and that the requirements of our staff and freelancers are met.


Main responsibilities to include:

·                 Manage the office assistants, including recruitment and performance reviews.

·                 To ensure the office is managed between 9am – 6pm

·                 Ensuring the IT Infrastructure, policies and software applications are effective.

·                 Oversee all office/IT supplier relationships.

·                 Manage day to day requirements of the office and staff.

·                 Ensure that CPL complies with all health and safety and fire regulations.

·                 To work with managing agents/surveyors to ensure the building follows all H&S requirements are met. Keeping up-to-date with latest H&S regulations and maintain office facilities and procedures are compliant.

·                 Looking after CPL website and ensuring it is updated regularly.

·                 Ensuring that IT and mobile device policies are communicated and adhered to by all staff.

·                 Organising company events where required (e.g Xmas party)

·                 Making sure desk/office space for new productions and projects are set and reset in line with desk/office plan.

·                 Ensure all day to day office requests are responded to and dealt with in timely manner.

·          Ensure new IT accounts are set up and inductions given. Ensure close down and archiving of accounts according to the company policy. 

·                 Dealing with confidential information on a daily basis.

·          Managing the fixed asset budget / register.

 

Experience required:

·                 Previous office management.

·                 Extremely well organised.

·                 Excellent IT skills, word, powerpoint, Excel.

·                 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

·                 Proven positive 'can-do' attitude.

 

This role is based at our office in Holborn, London 5 x days per week.

Dates: mid June 2025 (1 x year fixed term maternity cover)

Salary: £40 - £45k (depending on experience)
