Wise Owl Films is looking for a Senior Development Producer/Exec to join the team.

The proposed role is 4 days per week, with at least one day in our Leeds office. Initially 3 months, with a view to extend.

We are looking for someone with a track record in originating, structuring and pitching ideas. You will work to the senior team at Wise Owl to research, write and format pitch documents, taking ownership of ideas all the way through to commissioner meets.

Where relevant, you will produce and direct sizzles tapes, overseeing the edit process.

We are particularly keen to hear from people with experience devising and working on talent-led factual series, access-driven observational documentary, specialist factual formats/access and music/contemporary history archive.

Wise Owl Films is a Leeds-based division of Lime Pictures under the All3Media umbrella. We specialise in archive series like BBC 2's When X Came to Britain brand and Guy Garvey's From the Vaults(Sky Arts). We also make the More 4 documentary series Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids and produced Yorkshire Firefighters for BBC2
