The lack of opportunity at senior levels in the industry for people with Black, Asian and other ethnically diverse backgrounds is a long-standing issue. Funded by National Geographic, the Partnerships is a positive action collaboration between Nutopia and Creative Access and is designed to promote diversity and inclusion.
Following on from our first two Nutopia Partners we are now offering two more experienced individuals a unique immersive opportunity with the production team producing an ambitious, multi-part global factual series with National Geographic Content.
This is an accelerator programme aimed at creating the next generation of creative leaders from traditionally underrepresented groups.
Our Nutopia Partners are accomplished professionals looking to make the next step in their career, and we have two openings for experienced Production Managers or Line producers working towards their next role.
As a Nutopia Partner you will embark on 12-months development, joining a highly skilled team. The series involves complex logistics, health and safety issues, and large-scale crews on location. You will be engaging with the budget, liaising with fixers and HODs to make the vision a reality, with the added opportunity of being on location. This is alongside leadership coaching, a bespoke professional development training plan and mentoring.
As a candidate, you will currently be working as a senior Production Manager or Line Producer, looking to accelerate to the next level, move into high end factual TV, or transition across from your industry into TV.
Nutopia Partnerships in its name embodies the nature of our relationship of learning together.
We will help take your already acquired valuable knowledge and develop you to the next level. We want someone to come, learn with us and share their ideas.
Closing date: 16th October at 23:59
